ABOUT

Hello, my name is Collin Almeida and I am a senior Communication Studies major at Stevenson University. Prior to attending Stevenson I was at Penn State for my freshman year in 2019-2020 school year. I was on the lacrosse team and after getting surgery I decided to move closer to my home of Cape Cod, MA. I then transferred to Bryant University in Smithfield, RI and played a season there before I suffered multiple injuries. For my junior and senior year I decided to transfer to Stevenson University and continue my athletic and academic career.

The courses that I've taken through my communication major has allowed me to excel in my internship at Almeida & Carlson as I am in constant contact with customers. I am planning on working for Almeida & Carlson insurance agency after I graduate and I will be working in the Marine Department. We've been extremely busy as many customers are looking to get their boats insured for the summer season.
